Why is this role important?

Our iOS app is a core part of how customers experience SadaPay. As an iOS Engineer, your work will directly impact how people interact with their money every day; from payments and transfers to card management and security. You’ll help build an app that users trust, rely on, and enjoy using, where quality, performance, and reliability truly matter.

As a Sadanaut you will:

• Build and improve features on SadaPay’s iOS application
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable Swift code
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Integrate APIs to deliver smooth, secure, and reliable experiences
• Ensure the app performs well across iPhones and iOS versions
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and continuously improve the app
• Learn and apply iOS best practices with guidance from senior teammates

What it takes to become a Sadanaut:

• 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience with a proven track record of delivering and maintaining production-grade mobile applications.

• Strong proficiency in Swift, including:
  
  • Swift Concurrency (async/await, structured concurrency)
  • SwiftUI
  • UIKit
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including:
  
  • Clean Architecture
  • SOLID principles
  • Separation of concerns and scalable code design
• Demonstrated experience in automated testing:
  
  • Unit, UI, and Integration testing
  • Writing testable and maintainable code
• Experience working with modular or multi-module architectures.
• Strong command of version control systems (Git), including collaborative workflows.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, covering networking, JSON parsing, error handling, and authentication.
• Experience implementing Server-Driven UI (SDUI) or dynamic UI rendering.
• Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve code quality, accelerate development, and optimize delivery.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows:
  
  • Git Flow
  • Trunk-Based Development
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong attention to detail for code quality, performance, and user experience.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
