Why is this role important?

Internal Audit at SadaPay provides independent assurance over our governance, risk management, and internal control environment.

We are looking for someone who can bring a practical, curious, and analytical approach to Internal Audit, someone who can understand how our business works, identify what could go wrong, challenge controls constructively, and turn their work into meaningful insights for the business.

As a Sadanaut, you will:

• Plan and execute risk-based audits across operational, financial, regulatory, technology, and customer-facing areas.
• Evaluate risks and internal controls, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
• Perform audit testing and data analysis to identify exceptions and emerging risks.
• Prepare audit observations and reports, and follow up on agreed management actions and remediation.
• Support Audit Committee and management reporting through audit dashboards, analysis, and updates.
• Work with stakeholders across SadaPay while maintaining independence and objectivity.

What it takes to become a Sadanaut:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk, Compliance, or a related control function. CIA, CISA, CICA, ACCA, CA/ACMA, or progress toward a professional qualification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, audit testing, and reporting, with Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills, and good command of Excel/Google Sheets. 
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and engage stakeholders effectively.

What will make you stand out?

• Experience with SBP regulations, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, or financial-sector regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to technology/IT audits, data analytics, continuous auditing, or automation.
• Experience in EMIs, payment service providers, or fintechs.
